Does converting to JPG lose transparency?
Yes, JPG doesn't support transparency, so any transparent areas are filled with white.
Is image quality preserved?
Lossless formats like PNG keep full quality. Converting to JPG, WEBP, HEIC, or AVIF saves at the maximum quality setting for that format to minimize visible loss.
What if my image is already in the format I picked?
We'll let you know it's already that format and ask if you'd like to convert it anyway. If you don't need that, nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes, up to 100MB per file. Conversion happens on our server and finishes in seconds for typical photo sizes, with no email or signup needed.
Is my file safe, and how long is it kept?
