How do I remove an object from a photo?

Upload the photo, paint over the object and its shadow, then click Remove object. The area is filled in to match the surrounding background.

No. Objects are removed entirely in your browser, so your photo never leaves your device.

What kinds of objects can I remove?

People in the background, power lines, signs, stains, spots, text and small objects all work well, especially on natural backgrounds like sky, sand, grass, water or walls.

Why is part of the object still visible?

Paint a little beyond the edges of the object, including its shadow, then press Remove again on anything left behind.

Can I undo a removal?

Yes. Use Undo to step back, or Start over to return to the original photo.
